Moving....again

So I thought Gunnison was going to be a good town to live in...not really. I'm sick of the small town deal and need to be around a big city. So instead of trekking across the US again I figure I would move to the Denver area.

So what I need to know is what is a decent part of town that has decent rent prices and a good place to look for jobs, is workforce up there?. I probably wont move until the spring since my car is completely buried in snow. Oh also I need to live in a place that doesn't have emissions or I can always keep my FL plates on the car since my address is still good down there.
