JT...you should have just called me lol...stock trannys are no good above 7000 more often than not. That's why when you see all the famous tranny people advertise they stress on how their tranny will shift smoothly at high revs. Why exactly they are worthless I dunno, you would have to ask a tranny guy. My recommendation is to go with a Shep built tranny, best tranny I have ever had/driven on, not to mention everyone who drives my car is really amazed at how solid and precise it feels.. I have his Tranny and Stage 3 T-Case and I'm launching from 8K like it's nothing. Just watch the axles now that you have good power numbers haha.
