I'm leaning more towards a tweaked coupler that is allowing air to escape and/or get sucked in. Reason I say this is because I just blew off the turbo coupler after half-assing the clamps. It also seems to only happen while the car is warming up on the streets. After about 15 minutes of driving, the car refuses to allow this idle drop and acts normal. (Could this be the couplers become warm, thus expanding to "seal" the escaping air?) I'm going to pull all the couplers and spend time straightening them and torquing them down properly.
