I had an issue with this too. I cleaned my MAF sensor and Throttle Body and then installed a grounding kit. Since then I've had little to no drop in rmps when coming to a stop. My voltmeter doesn't move a hair, whereas before it would jump from 14 to 12v. Good Luck
