Used to have an R1 and R6. Sold my R1 to my little brother at about 3k under cause he was gonna get a kawa if I didn't. And imo, giving my brother a few bucks is better than him owning a piece

Still own my R6. I did see a naaaasty wreck on it in 05 though. On the 4th of July in-fact. Few days in the hospital, tons of scabs, and many broken bones later, it now rides on a salvage title. It's fully rebuilt. Actually a 660 now instead of a 599. down 1 on front up 2 in the rear.

As for riding in colorado. If you don't know already, we love gravel here and riding GP style on the way back from the track WILL end up with you and your bike cartwheeling for 200 feet.

I still love riding though and wouldn't mind a spending a few days riding with some friends and pulling a few more 12'o'clocks before I sell her.
