Exhaust Question

Sup guys, Its been awhile since I've been on here.. Hope you all are doing good and hope your evo's are too..

I was wondering from y'alls experience if I could just purchase a catback exhaust and add the necessary parts later to make it a turboback?

So far, my choices are the Megan TBE for around $600 or the AMS catback which is the same price range. The AMS turboback seems like a really reliable overall good exhaust system but the TBE version costs 900 and I'm trying to stay within a budget. If you guys suggest the AMS catback first, then I can just add tbe parts on it later on, right? All I would need would be is a testpipe to make it a TBE if I am not mistaken.

Currently I am runnin open DP so I can be ready to run my car at the track this friday; It really helps alot but I was always curious if I could have a spike in boost. Could the increased airflow increase the boost? Is that why it pulls so hard? It kills gas and isn't healthy to breathe gas when driving under a open dp but I'mma put it back on after I run my car. Just curious..
