Yes, it took you long enough to figure out you've been had :)

Well, apparently something went a miss with my buddy's build. We're not sure what caused it yet but we will look into it a little further once he's done crying about it.

Apparently he went to start his car this morning, and it was running extremely lopey and barely at all. Plus it was making this really weird clanking noise the likes of which neither of us ever heard. He called me over and we did a compression test.

We only got a reading in the number two cylinder, and it was perfect. The other cylinders didn't get any reading at all. I thought it might have been my compression tester, as it is pretty old and I bought it from the pawn shop as I'm a cheap SOB.

Boost leak test came out good too. So, scratching our heads, we tried running the car and driving down the block, and it ran absolutely terrible. At least we made it back into the driveway, but it took us almost five minutes with the throttle absolutely floored. The car sounded like a machine gun, I swear.

So, since I had some time on my hands, I helped him remove his head so we could further investigate and this is what we found.

To be honest, neither of us understand what's going on. All his internals look absolutely perfect. We see no signs of detonation, nothing bent or missing, all fluids topped off.

You guys look and tell me what you think. Personally, we're banging our heads on the wall with this.

Any and all thoughts would be immensely helpful.
