If someone asks for help then feel free to give your opinion about each mod. Otherwise, just let well enough alone and let people choose how they want they want to mod without giving your opinion.
How am I not letting anyone do anything? You focus so much on just saying the exact opposite of what I say that you don't realize you're trying to quash my right to give my opinion with the same fervor you're defending others' right to do whatever they want to their car. Why is anyone free to do whatever they want to their car, but I'm not allowed to give my opinion on it? That makes no sense. You don't like my opinion? Fine, but I'm still going to give it. Just like you and others are going to do things to your car whether I like it or not. Why defend one but not the other? It makes no sense. Telling me I can only give my opinion when some asks is a complete and utter farce. No one asks for permission to put stupid things on their Evo. Also, there have been times when people DID ask, and you would still oppose me, so it doesn't even matter. What DOES matter is you don't like my opinions or the fact I give them. Oh well, it's my right to do so just as much as someone who ruins their Evo except that I'm just typing words while they are wasting money screwing up a fine automobile. Just my opinion, of course. Hopefully, I'm still allowed to have that without your permission...

Also, the whole diatribe about me asking why people would decrease performance was NOT directed only at rdwngs. I am asking in GENERAL...why do people do that? He just happens to be one example, although he misrepresented himself initially. I haven't been saying all this about 19" rims - that's just one example. I was originally referring to him saying he made his Evo too low to road race (why do I feel like I'm repeating myself?). That was way more of an issue than having huge rims, but just because he came back and said he just had a splitter (not sure why he originally said the car was too low), it didn't change the gist of my question, which is...why would people by an Evo and then do mods that hurt the performance just to "look" cool (definitely debatable).
