I said it because the subys dont hold up as well i have seen so many issues with them. I like the new 08 sti's but i wouldn't own one. I have never seen a real reliable suby, i have seen stock ones take out trannys in 5k.....and that is the wrx the sti has a good transmission. the 4g63 is tried and true. It has been proven numerous times for over 1000hp mark. also there are some that are still driven on the streets that do 8's the first suby in the 8's was just recently, it has taken forever. try changing out the plugs lets make it harder then it has to be.....a built suby motor is great but it does take a lot of money to do, more then the 4g63
