GM IAT Sensor Placement Help

Greetings

I am going SD and have the Omni 4 Bar with a GM IAT Sensor. After searching the forums, I can't seem to get a definitive answer on where the IAT Sensor is supposed to be welded on. I have read on the forum that the placement goes before the BOV. My question with this is the placement for a Tial 50mm VTA BOV: Members have the sensor welded before the BOV between the IC and BOV, but the shop I am getting to weld it on is saying that it should be as close to TB as possible. I understand the the IAT reads the temp of the air, but will placing it before BOV throw off readings for air in UICP after air is vented?

I don't plan on using Meth in the future. I plan on staying on pump gas for a while.

Any help on this matter please?
