Yes, I'm planning on running a SD setup as well and the sensor must go as close to the intake manifold as possible. Most people would put it right on the intercooler pipe, just before the throttle body. I would just get one of these
hobart welders and weld the sensor pretty close to the throttle body, on the IC piping.
