I disagree partially with Alex's post. It is true that a bigger intercooler without a tune is pointless, but depending on other mods and how hard the turbo is actually working, it can be quite beneficial. After a tune, that larger intercooler will help reduce the amount of heatsoak and definitely help keep the the other temps down. Meaning youll be able to run the car harder, longer. If you were to run a comparison of an Evo with a stock intercooler and one with a larger intercooler, but both cars have all of the same other mods, youll notice that the one with the smaller intercooler will start to lose power, a big reason because the motor is going to start to knock.

Alex, im also sure that you mean the lower level BMW's, Porche etc.....

SicLanEvo makes a valid point as well. Brake boosting properly will give you a huge advantage. Being at a slow roll, but generating a good amount of boost will still give you a pretty reputable launch ahead of your opponent.
