guys did you know the more important differences between sea level and above or below the sea level, that is the pressure altitude? so it is verypossible in the hot summer, hazy sea level ,can be less optimal than the 3000 feet above the sea level? Because really is the pressure altitude and humidity is the main factor for the engine performance. so the cooler less humid air is better for the engine. and if you go higher altitude the air thinner ,but if is not humid like the sea level one ,won't make really any differences /because most likely colder also/.So better if you watch the Hg.
