In some ways I find gallery comments pointless...and in other ways useful...
I think its pointless if all everybody is says is...oooo cool pic
or nice....or sick burnout...whatever
could be useful in terms of constructive critism...even on photography...you should try takikng it at this angle...or...that would look nice with a different background...you know
also useful for asking questions about the car ie, what kind of rims, what size tires, which exhaust, etc, etc
if people had to bash...then is there a way to restrict them from posting in that section, and only let them post there again after say 3 months if they improve the way they act on the board (they would have to be reviewed by a mod and then the mod would decide whether or not to let them back in) If they bash again...then just ban them again but this time for longer or forever...
if it is unrealized bashing the we could give them a break...something like
I think your windows are too dark...
that IMO is bashing, but it is very subtle and probably not intended to hurt somebody...
