Ok, GSC and Cosworth are both viable cam sets for the IX. GSC came out with their set first, and then they improved them with the new S2 versions that supposedly make a lot more power. I don't think you should worry about 280 vs 272, because those numbers aren't really consistent across manufacturers. A set of 264 Revolvers is more aggressive than HKS or GSC 280s. Also, both Cosworth and GSC cam sets will be capable of a smooth or near-smooth idle with a proper flash - it's not a problem with our stock ECU as long as you go to a good tuner.
