Sport Compact Shootout Aug 28th, Hallsville TX

Place: Hallsville Dragway
Date: August 28, 2004
Event: Sport Compact Shootout
Time: 6:00 pm
Price: $30 for H/U and $20 for Brackets

We are having two classes for the Sport Compact crowd. We are having a heads-up and a bracket shootout. Here is the rundown for the heads-up class:

Heads-Up
$1000 winner
$500 R/U
$250 Semis
$100 Quarters

These are going to be run on a pro tree 1/4 mile. We will have two(2) rounds of qualifying to see who will make the Quick 8. There are 4 simple rules for this class and they are as follows:

1. NO tube chassis cars(rollcages are mandatory for 10.99 e/t or faster)
2. Any 4 cyl car is eligible(FWD, RWD, AWD allowed)
3. V6 sport compacts must be FWD
4. Rotary engine cars must have a functioning muffler.

The bracket class is very simple. I think you all know the rules for that class. Here is the breakdown:

$500 Winner
$250 R/U
$125 Semis
$75 Quarters

Gates will open at 6:00 and 1st round of qualifying start at 9:00 pm. Don't be late!!! Please go to http://www.hallsvilledragway.com for directions to the track and any hotel information. If you have any questions, please PM or post them up on here.
