CART-CT first auto-x 4/13

Had my first auto-x of the season yesterday. I brought my dad out, we had a great time.
He ran in the novice group where I ran in my class of SM.
Most of the big hitters were there. Nick in his 350z, with newly installed A6 tires and a rear diff, Jim in his STi now running in BSP instead of SM (so he doesn't have to compete with me) and Leo in his BSP Evo.
The course was a giant W that you did two laps on. The morning was chilly. With cold ground and cold R compounds, people were sliding everywhere. I spent more time sideways the first run than straight. My second run which is seen in the video was much faster than my first run. Unfortunately I was told I was too loud and couldn't run again....BS if you ask me considering how loud some of the others cars were. At this point I had set FTD but whacked two cones on the start.
Being kicked out didn't matter because a (braided) brake line blew coming into the stop box. Fortunately I had slowed down enough to control it.
I've already ordered new lines, and will be talking today with Buschur about getting there muffler.
Enjoy.
Oh without the cones I was faster than the next person in my class by 1.3seconds. But the cones bumped me back to 5th. Considering I only had 1 good track run, I'm happy with my finish. My dad took 5th in novice as he is still learning the car
Vid is of my second run when grip was much better. As the day went on, the course got faster
YouTube - Evo Auto-x, nice rotation
