I was able to attend the Middle East Motor Tuning Show in Dubai this past weekend. Most of the modified cars were carryovers from the Barbican Turbo Auto Fest that I went to two weeks ago.
Overall I was a bit disappointed with this show, but there were a few interesting cars there and lots of local dealers showcasing the new year’s models. They were supposed to have drifting, but it wasn’t. I would describe it more as a Free Style Burnout Contest. The best drift I saw all day was when a Corvette (C5) snuck out onto the pad and did a couple quick circles.
