Yes new parts

Well not really parts. But I received my first non performace parts today. My order didn't come in completely the rest should be here in about two weeks, man waiting sucks!
You all probably want to know what I got. Well first off I got a turbo timer with harness(do brand names matter??), and cause of the harness I get an extra 7whp. Bet you didn't know that! I also got the radio relocation kit because in two weeks I'll be receiving the gauge/dash kit from Gruppe-S, the one that puts your guages up where your radio goes. As for gauges I got nothing but my favorite Defi red face gauges. I got boost gauge and EGT today. Water temp will come in about two weeks also. This is the first time I have ordered part for a car that weren't performace gainers.
I know I could have gone the cheapie greddy gauges or autometer and laid them on my dash or on the A-pillar but thats just not me. I like things to look factory and clean. Thats why I'm also looking to wire in my Defi Control Unit in my arm rest along with my turbo timer. That will keep the dash and sterring column clean looking.
All parts were ordered from Lancershop.com Thank you very much to Justin there for personally taking care of me and setting up a great deal. He is top notch when it comes to customer service and working within someone's self proclaimed budget.
As soon as I resize my pics I'll have them up of what I got

ya in essence if you think about it, minus the turbo timer, my guages cost my $900. Thats very expensive. I did a lot of saving for this. I would have much rather spend it on my head and intake mani. But you need to monitor what your precious Evo is doing

I've always been amazed at the exorbitant prices on their gauges, but it sounds like it's definately worth it for you and that's all that matters. I've got a set of autometer z-series in the radio spot though and it looks just fine. Sure, no startup fancy-pants dancing or instant rewind fast forward playback, but they work as a guage should.

Post pics when you get everything installed, should look slick as hell!

My center piece won't be here for another week or so, its being made. I will definetly post pics though you can count on that.
I understand where people say a gauge is a gauge. Just like an exhaust is an exhaust, to a point. I just prefer the Defi gauges, they are sexy looking.

agreed most of the flaming about defi gauges is just jealousy. Hell, I'll admit that given the opportunity, I'd choose defi b's over autometer.. or maybe I'd hold out for the nexus series.

wow thats a lot of ability. Able to get a memory card to download to a computer, remote control, color changes and all. Nice gauges. I'm just partial to Defi since thats what was introduced to me in Japan and thats all I ran.

I just got a Greddy TurboTimer yesterday... I really need to get a new boost gauge.. how much is the boost gauge in that series you got? I don't want to spend more than 50... that seems a lil ridiclous for a simple boost gauge... I really think I will buy another autometer, can't really go wrong with them... but looks wise, yours look sick

my boost gauge was over $200. ya very veyr expensive but thats the price you pay to look good i guess. I'm not a fan of autometer gauges, thats just me. but a gauge is a gauge, they all do the same function.
