Anti-Spam measures - Mitsubishi Evolution Forums: Mitsubishi Lancer Forum

Hey folks,

We've noticed a sudden rise in spam across several forums this week so we're going to add some extra anti-spam measures.

This may require an update in the site's forum software which would require a temporary interruption in service. I will let you know if this is required and how much time it would take.

If you do experience anything unusual with the site today, please let us know.

Guess what it still sucks. This used to be a good site now its just worthless. I hope new evo owners do not come here for information unless they are trying to buy products from spammers.........

I have done more updating now. Lets see if it works, there will be existing spam accounts that will appear over the next couple weeks, but i will ban the users and their IP addresses. I am trying to take care of it.

still not working......10 different threads. I thought this was a site for evotuners not people who want male enhancement.....I think this site is done..... no member are on here anymore and we get more posts from spam then members.

The worst part is that vb.org offers anti-spam hacks for free and they take approximately 20 seconds to install.

All the anti-spam plugins are installed, I have to go in and delete all spammers that are already registered and I will do so today. Sorry for the delayed response.
