Forums Back Online - Report Problems Here

Sorry for the downtime guys. Everything should be back up and running except for the Parts Catalog - you'll notice a few things will be different since we upgraded the forums software. Let me know if you find any errors or problems. Reply here and give me details about the problem. Thanks!

Chris, why do the sites go down, back up, down, back up, etc? Sometimes I can get here and see posts, then later all I'll get is about 500 downloads or whatever it is I see happening in my status bar. Same on the NASA-RM site - it works for a while then goes back to the apology page. It all seems random.

I haven't seen any of this but I've been told about it. It could be a browser issue, cookies/cache, etc. Or it could be DNS related, since the sites' DNS settings were recently changed over. I would think that it would be updated across the web by now but it could be the case. I'll check into it more.

I'm on multiple computers, and it's randomly going in and out. Right now, this forum works, but the NASA forum isn't. Earlier today, this site was back to its old tricks of zooming through 500 URLs in my status bar as if there was a big virusfest infiltrating me, hah - it did this the whole time the site was under attack.

PS. I'll be at Ft Collins Saturday getting the suspension installed, tuned, and aligned. Then, on Sunday, we have an RMSOLO auto-x winter event where I get to test it all out. Just got the car back today with a working Shep 5spd, so things are looking good...

Yeah, it definitely sounds like you are being taken to the old site on the old server, which is still all hacked up with redirect code. For some reason the DNS hasn't updated across the web just yet. It might take a few days. I'll see if there's something I can do in the meantime to help things a little, maybe a redirect from the old server to the new one...
