More hp?

Does anyone know the best way to increase my hp in my evo 8 for about 400 dollars. It's pretty stock other than intake and exhaust. I've been told just getting it tuned I can have the boost turned up?? Really don't know anything about evos just love to drive em.

well if your looking for the best boost for your buck... i would have to go with a performance chip... shouldn't be more than 100 dollars and give you about 40 extra hp and seeing as how you said you do not know much about evo's they are not hard to install and usually come with an instruction book of about 10 to 12 steps...

i dont know of a specific place to go to get the performance chip but google will probably yield a few results if you just type in "EVO VIII performance chip"
