08 Evo X vs 07 STI

so I've decided between the two and have decided that since I want a car with low miles and both cars are basically in the same boat, I've decided to look at the 07 sti and if i can't find an sti with low miles from 07 i'll get an 08 evo since i don't like hte new look of stis. aside from all the technical differences, which car is more reliable and will give less problems. Also which car is an easier car to drive. I'm upgrading from an automatic impreza so i'm still kind of learning to drive stick. Also i've heard of evos having all kinds of maintenance issues and wearing out tires and clutch fast but i've heard the same for sti's as well. so the main question i have is, which car is more reliable and easier to learn on for a daily driver?
