I am gonna go with the Buschur/Warrtalon stage 1 kit will this set me up to then go ahead with an alky set up or will other mods be necessary? Or is an alky set up further down the mod line?

It's usually a little further down the line, but I actually went that route. I had my stg 1 package, then I added an o2, ported/coated mani, ported/coated hotside, forge wga, and the alky all at once, then got custom tuned at 26psi. I went from 294whp/269wtq to 341whp/361wtq - this was before cams. You don't need any of those other mods I listed in order to run alky, but most people do that stuff AND CAMS before alky. For you, I'd suggest to do this as your stage 2:

- GSC 272s (or 264s or a hybrid set)
- BR LICP
- Custom flash

That's a great stage 2 that doesn't make you have to mess with alky. Alky is complicated and a bit dangerous relative to other bolt-ons, so I recommend not going to alky until you're really sure that you're ready and have all the other bolt-ons.
