bought a 03 evo 8, couple questions

hi to all, i just bought a 2003 Evo 8 for 19k. with 45k miles on it...has a 9 bumper on it tho bummer because i kinda dont like it all that much. I do have a couple questions though im not new to the Mitsu scene as for i used to have a gst, turned into a money pit then decided not to bother ... Anyways;

Buttons- one on the center console that says Auto(on top) and then Man on the bottom
AutoTrader.com

there is 2 other ones that im not sure what they are; they're on the left hand side of the steering wheel just a bit low.

and also i have had performance parts for an Evo for a while now. Enough to get on the track for some times. Was wondering if anyone cared to explain how the 2-step system works in these cars.

thanks for taking a look.

That switch is for the intercooler sprayer. Auto=ecu controlled/Man=manual (you hold it down and it sprays).

As long as the stationary rev limit is set to where you want in the ecu; when you are at the line (stationary), with the clutch engaged, floor the throttle and the ecu will hold that RPM.
