Clutch issue

Ok guys, posting for a friend of mine that has an evo 8. He let one of his friends drive his car and once he got it back at the end of the day the stock clutch was SHOT! The quesiton I have is I just resently replaced my stock evo 9 clutch with an exedy twin disk and was wondering if my stock clutch will bolt right up to the evo 8 tranny? Is there any differences? He's looking to sell the car and just wants a quick fix! Any help would be great! My stock clutch only has about 12,000 miles on it!

Yea, it'll fit.
Just remember to tell you friend to disclose that info when he sells it. I would be kinda pissed to find out the car's cooked clutch was replaced with another used one.

"Only" 12,000 miles isn't saying much, especially if you ever drag raced it. Mine only lasted 7500...

I know some people who only made it 2k or so...... Mine lasted about 9k and still was strong when it came out.
