My uncle is buying me an evo 8 or 9 depending on which one is better and I need to know what is the best mod path for 350 hp or the maximum the stock evo 8 or 9 turbo can handle, srry if this is a frequently asked question, I looked at them all but I'm still confused, also please tell me the total price outcome for all the mods needed to reach my goal

Honest question.......how old are you?

I cant tell you how much its going to cost, because everyone charges differently. And what makes it harder to tell you how much it will cost is the fact that YOU HAVE TO GET THE EVO TUNED. Pretty much after almost every modification in order to get the most out of it. OR you can have all the mods installed at the same time and only get it tuned once, your choice. The stock Evo turbo can handle quite a bit of abuse. If you look at a thread that I just commented on, youll see that I posted what you need for your Evo in order to achieve near 400hp.

I an now 16 years old, and nim going to have my friend, my dad, and my dads friend help me tune my car to what I want it to be

My uncle said he wants to be the one to buy me my first car since my parents had the thought of giving me their car which they miight need, and also it is an suv, a car I wouldn't like that much

Im not sure an Evo is exactly the "right" first car for a 16 year old. He should probably buy them a car and they put you in the SUV.

i agree a evo is not the right first car for anyone. I have seen many kids with a first car that most people only dream about and they end up in the hospital or worse. Learn how to drive and learn the rules of the road in a shitbox then get a nice car.

i couldnt agree more about not having a evo as your first car. i would diff ended up hurt if that was my first car

Its not only the aspect of ending up hurt from being a non-experienced driver of such a powerful car, but its also the fact that someone so young has still to develop the sense of responsibility of that car as well as maintaining it on their own. Not looking for someone else to pay their way.
