A controller for the MIVEC?

I went to super auto bacs today (a big auto parts store) and I saw a HKS valve controller and was wondering if that has to do with the MIVEC?
Does anyone have any knowledge of this or has heard something about it?
I would appreciate it.

There is no MIVEC controller. The HKS valve controller you saw was probably thier boost controller.

Yeah it is!

But the HKS box that I saw has two controllers inside.
I had a picture of the boost controller and it had a seprerate Valve controller.
If it isn't the MIVEC controller what is the purpose of that valve controller?
Just courious.
I might go back and ask them!
THey might not know though. I asked a employee about an exhaust for my car and he said "I think so" not very helpful.
