Drag Radials

can a stock evo handle drag radials? i aksed a buddy of mine but he was thought i was talking about his trans am. he said if there isnt enough power, axles could start breaking.(still talking about the t.a.)?

What do you mean by "can a stock evo handle drag radials?" Drag radials would serve no purpose on a stock Evo, since you can't spin the stock tires with stock power. You won't break axles at all, because the stock clutch is so weak that it would just burn itself up even if you had enough power.

Even at high power levels, drag radials or slicks don't do much good if you can't heat them up. It is possible to set up an 05+ EVO to do sperate FWD and RWD burnouts to warm up drag radials or slicks.... but I don't know of anyone who is using the method I came up with.
