electronic boost controller for better gas milage

okay i was wondering if i could get an electronic boost controller with two boost settings one for say like 5psi and the other for like 20psi

because my evo is my primary car and i put about 3k miles a month on it, which is a lot in gas...and since i don't need 271HP 100% of the time, i was just wondering if i could say put the boost down to 5psi when i was just riding around, and then when i "needed" the power i could just put it to say 20psi? is this safe? practical?

Greddy offers their remote switching systems that mount to the steering wheel for a quick way to swich from low boost for improved gas mileage or high boost for some spirited driving. Here is a link to their website:

You don't any steering wheel remote switching or any EBC. Just don't boost...how hard is that?

You can't go below 11psi anyway, but there's no reason to even bother when your foot is what controls the boost to begin with...

Gas mileage is not affected by where your boost is set. It's ONLY affected by how much YOU choose to boost.
