EVO 8 Emissions!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Im getting my evo 8 next week. Im very excited! I have a question that i need answered asap! So please help me out if you can. I live in Ontario Canada, and im wondering if my Evo will Pass the Provincial EMISSIONS TEST???!!! It has some mods (cams, cam gears, SAFC,, catch can, ETC..) So, my question is... does the Evo give problems with the test or should it pass?? Thanks in advance. ANY INFO APPRECIATED!

I would say it should pass the test if it has a catylitic converter and no check engine lights. A check engine light is an immediate fail.

yeah your emissiopns may be way different then ours. here any car 1997 and up just get plugged in and it checks the ecu for codes. I have passed 3 times with the evo with no cat and a full 3"TBE.
