Expensive Re-Flash and dyno rental

Ok i went t get a price quote for my mods and the dyno flash blew my mind!

1350$ - Titanium HKS turboback exhaust
300$ - Super Sequential HKS dump valve
400$ - MBC (screen and all the different options)
1050$ - Dyno Flash + 1 1/2 day dyno rent

The flash seems real expensive to me concidering it can be done in the states for 80$
not including dyno fees.

Yes i know before anyone tells me.... Dont need titanium ,dont need supersequential dump valve need recycling one...
What ya'll need to know is that in Dubai they import all thee parts for the rich locals and only these pricey mods are available cuz the arabs will pay for them withought a blink of an eye..

I'm sticking to warrtalons suggestions
-turboback
-mbc
-flash
-panel k&n filter (stock intake )

Oh yea the guy told me the reason the flash is expensive is because he has to buy the flash license for the car and register it???!!! wtf i aint heard that on this forum is he pulling my leg or what.

I saw an evo out here with a buschur racing decal all across the side of it. I need to go find out how he imported his parts from the states i should just go for the warrtalon kit all for a fixed price no pissing around.

It depends on the software. I know ecutek charges quite a bit for their licence ($5000 USD?). Try and out exactly what he's using. There is free software here, but you still need the cable. I can't say certain if it will work on non USDM ECU's;

I edited the thread title... "Dynoflash" is a specific brand name for a reflashing company.

Yeah, the flash you're being quoted for is an EcuTek-based flash, which means you have to buy the initial $650 license. However, he's then charging another $400 on TOP of the license fee for "tuning," I guess. Here in the States, even when people use EcuTek, the vendors usually charge the minimum $650 to include the license and tune, or they charge maybe another $100 on top of it, not $400.

Yeah, Dynoflash is a brand name, so be careful!! What you are getting is just a flash...tuned on a dyno, heh.

Holy crap, that list of mods is ridiculous!!! I'm glad you're being smart and going with what's tried and true for half the price. Now, if we can just get you flashed for cheap, that would be best. We'll have to find out if EcuFlash (the free stuff turbolarry linked) works on your JDM ECU.
