general question?

hello. i was wondering why is the location limited in registering?.. anyway im from the philippines and i drive an evo 7. i was wondering if the all the stuff for the evo 8 will work on my evo 7? like the ecu maps?..

you should start with ecuflash with your own evo 7 rom, then have it tweaked by a tuner. I would not reccomend using someone elses map even if they have the same mods and year of you car, all cars are different and each one should be tuned accordingly.

thanks siclanevo for the advice. i actually bought a used evo 7. it has a safc 2, hks camshaft, hks headers, greddy 25t turbo, hks ssqv bov, hks cf exhaust pipe with 3 in' exhaust system, and 1000cc injectors. and for the suspension tein coilovers w/edfc customize spring, mines front and rear strut bar, carbing underbrace. so this is what the car came with when i bought it. so is there anything i should add or change before getting a tune?

how did you get a used 7? your fisrt post says your from the phillipines but your user info says your from socal? that is why i ask about the evo 7. Post up some pics! I love the evo 7's!

i got the evo 7 from a friend that imported it. and the reason i put socal is that i have a place there to where i go for vacation. ive been trying to post pics but the uploading things keeps getting an error which says "unable to move/copy file". how did you post your pics?
