Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums. I currently drive an 07 mazda 6 but I have been looking at an 03 Lancer Evolution. I want to know if this is a good deal or not. The first thing that jumped out at me was the low price. I am also a little hesitant because there are alot of owner modifications. Any feedback is welcome. Thanks for your time

It doesn't have that many mods....it has low miles for a 03 so that is kinda weird. i would sell mine for that but i have 155k on it. i think either the milage was typed wrong or there is something majorly wrong with the car......it has a dynoflash on it which would be the first clue somethings not right

I'm still a novice when it comes to cars, could someone explain why Dynoflash isn't a good sign?

its a a tune that is not car specfic.......not great for your car. you need a custom tune not a base tune that was sold to everyone and made for all the evos with the same mods. cars are not the same even with the same mods

It is a genaric tune...and may or may not rob you of power and your motors longevity. IMHO

Before Ecuflash was out he was one of the easiest people to get to tune your car but it was basic and generic as stated. i leaned out my fuel curve with a safc on top of the tune and gained 7 MPH trap speed at the track. Also he rescaled my MAFS for a intake just not the one i had.....all parts and all cars are different! with my current tune i push around 400awhp and can get 27 mpg when i drive normal!

Yea that sounds too good to be true. And that's their asking price! If that was all true I'd have no prob paying 5 grand more and it'd still be a good deal!

i would do a carfax and a leak down test before i would consiter that evo something is fishy
