Hello.

Well, I did not see a thread based on introductions so I'll just make my own I guess. First off hi to everybody, I would like to start off and say that I do not have a Lancer of any kind. I have a 2g Eclipse. My reasoning for joining up on this site is research and possibly asking questions.

Here is my first question, today I received a used 2003 Lancer Evo VIII BOV that I would like to use on my Eclipse. My Eclipse is a 420a btw and I'm piecing my turbo kit together as we speak. I did not get the flange with the BOV the BOV itself was free because the guy I got it from upgraded his. He no longer has the flange to the stock BOV, so I'm needing to find one or one that would work. Do you all have any suggestions as to were or how I would look this up? Also I was told this stock BOV was off of a MR version Evo, because the whole thing is made of metal? I dunno, all I know is I need to find a flange and have no clue where to start looking. Any tips and info would be great.

the OEM BOV's on any evo do not have flanges. Its pretty much the same setup as the 2g Turbo BOV's. It goes in or on the pipe and clamps in. You could set it up like a evo with a tube leading to the BOV or just sell it for $80 or $90 and buy a aftermarket BOV. The Metal BOV is pretty in demand for anyone with a 03-05 evo.
