How much would you pay?

I am about to buy a 06 Evo SE with 48k on it. Bone stock. Body is in perfect condition. Tires are good. I would rate it as a excellent condition on kbb. There is no option for a SE on KBB so I have to go off of the IX and it comes to $21,265. He said he would sell it for $21,500. Think that is a good price? It is by far the cleanest and stock out of the 6 that I have seen for sale around here. It also just had a new clutch put in right at 40k.

sounds ok, except for the clutch replacement at 40k. price seems good because the SE is a very limited production and the last of the evo IX's

^^ Agreed. The SE is worth the money IMO.

^^sounds great. before you buy any parts please let me know what your thinking first, dont just slap parts on it either, this will cause you issues down the road. there are plenty of threads on here about good upgrade paths and good parts. Good luck with the car and keep it clean!

I am going to Buschur racing route. BR TBE, upper intercooler piping, bov, BR air filter kit, carbon fiber heat shield, boost gauge, boost controller and the BR reflash. Seems BR is one of the best around and has been for awhile. Should be going to get my car here in a couple hours.

FYI unless you go above 25 psi, which isn't likely with that setup, you might as well keep the BOV that comes on the car. It'll save you some money for other mods. The IX BOV is a metal BOV that is good up to 25-26 psi.

She is home. Yeah I read about the BOV and I am going to stick with stock. Going to take her Monday to get all the fluids changed etc. Hopefully have the time to get a full detail done.
