Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the family. Any upcoming modifications in mind?

Also, what are you using to try and upload pics? Maybe we can help you out to get some uploaded.

Thanks alot for welcoming me. I was trying to link my photos from my facebook, but I will give photobucket a try. As for mods I want to pic up a turbo timer, possibly a turbo back exhaust and tune. I need to save up some money. This is my first major purchas out of college and my first brand new car lol

That's awesome. I use imageshack.com for all my picture uploads. But photobucket is great as well. Definately take your time with buying mods, and do your research!

Thanks and yeah I plan on doing a lot of research. I was reading that it would be in my best interest to get some gauges first so i think that will be my first step.

Thumbs up

EVO X is good. My name is Katrine Bonn from California. You should really choose quality over price yeah?

Get a good boost gauge first. a turbo timer is not necessary at all. just let your car idle for about 20-30 secs when you park it or just drive slow for the last 2-3 miles before your going to park the car, this will actually cool the motor and turbo down better then just letting it idle in one spot.

mod path:
boost gauge
TBE
Intake
IC pipes
FMIC
Cams
fuel pump
Tune with ecu controlled boost.

This will make a lot of power and still be reliable!

depends on your budget and what your looking for, Def or spek for the high end. stewart warner for the lower end. all work great but a electronic boost gauge will always cost more.

Im still using an Autometer boost gauge. Theyre about $60 and they will read +/- 1 psi. IMO, thats not bad for that price.

i prefer the stewart warner gauges better then the autometers, they seem to hold better and they are actually about $30-40
