I just registered and paid taxes, title, plates and fees for my used '03 Evo and the tab came out to $685! I could hardly believe just how much the tax was on her, $530 or so. I live in Alabama, so it's not like state taxes and registration fees are ridiculously high....but wow. What did everyone else pay at their DMV?

I wish I lived where you guys live. VA charged me $1552. Made me sick, mods have to be on hold for a bit

I paid $1374, which included tax, title and license in Washington State for an '03 VIII

You think you do good and talk the dealer down almost $500. And then the state steps in and slaps you back down again.
