Max capacity of a stock evo 9 turbo

What is the maximum boost capacity of a stock evo 9 turbo?
I have used evc 6 boost controller to increase my boost. I am also using walbro fuel pump.

what other mods do you have besides a boost controller and fuel pump. in order to get the most power you should have spent your first couple $ on the car wisely, like a intake, or turboback exhaust then get a manual boost controller instead of the super exspensive evc6. Fuel pump is good but i would put money on it that its not doing you any good running extra fuel into your motor without proper tuning. anytime you change fuel pressure dramatically or up the boost over stock it should be tuned. I have seen the evo IX turbo run over 30psi, its not super efficent at that boost pressure but it can work well with alky injection. I would say 25psi for not running alky with all the supporting mods. If you want to go bigger let me know i will take that evo 9 turbo off your hands!

I have a Ported Evo 9 turbo with the Mods on my profile and I'm running 22 psi..When I get my cams and FMIC on I turning it up to 25 which I wouldn't recommend going over with and Intercooler Sprayer or a Alky

I have hks hi power silent exhaust with mid pipe , turbo down pipe and 02 sensor housing. Since I boosting more I am using a zeitronix wide band 02 sensor to monitor Afr lamda and egt. Is it okay to do 25 psi with stock turbo and with the supporting mods?

^^yes 25psi is the standard once you have all the supporting mods. you def need a tune though.

With proper tuning you can hit near 400 hp on the IX turbo. I was making about 380 hp @ 25 psi WITHOUT alky.

You need fuel mods BAD..If you want to max out its potential you need injectors and a pump..and a TUNE!

You dont necessarily need aftermarket injectors. I was using stock injectors all the way through. And he stated that he already has the Walbro. Thats enough for stock IX turbo. But if he did go with injectors, he could use 1000cc with the right scaling.

Edit: I know I said that I made 380hp with stock injectors and NO alky, but I also had cams, full 3in exhaust, test pipe, o2 housing, intake, and was also using ECU controlled boost.
