Need Evo Help

hey guys. i drive a 03 evo 8. i recently bought it on monday. ok so on wednesday morning, i woke up to find that my evo does not move. i would put it in 1st gear, and the car would sit still. i even let go of the clutch, and the car does not stall, shake, or anything, it just sits there. i also noticed the night before, when i was driving it, i noticed that the car used less clutch to move, and everytime i shifted to 2nd gear, and i would press the gas, the car would start high reving, and after 3 seconds it move go faster. plz lemme know whats wrong guys

sound slike it needs a clutch. Any mods on the car? how many miles are on it? Are you used to driving a 5spd or a AWD car?

Your clutch was slipping and its pretty much dead. But hey, now you have a reason to upgrade!

clutch, clutch and clutch...time for an upgrade excedy twin disk is a good upgrade..

Depending on what his plans are for the car. If its just to DD, get some spirited drives in and a hardly ever trip to the drag strip, a single plate will do him just fine.

ya it is my clutch. i jus wanted to see what else it might be just in case. btw no the car has no mods, all stock. it has 60,000 miles. and ya its getting fixed right now, instead of the clutch its the whole tranny and some minor services after. and this is my first awd car, and the car already came with a almost dead clutch too.

Are you just replacing the clutch with another OEM clutch?

Out of curiosity, did you do any launching with the car?

probably getting a stage 1, and no i never launched it
