So I decided to take my car to get the timing belt done at my local regular shop that I worked at for 5 years. I trust them and they will do an excellent job and charge me a reasonable amount compared to atlantic.
My next question is I want to make some power but do not know where to get the car tuned after installing parts. After hearing some so-so stuff about atlantic I am unsure if I want to take my car there. I was looking into doing the following
Turbo back exhaust
Already have a JDM/MR dv
Boost guage
walboro 255 fuel pump
I think that is it. Now I know buscher will do an ECU flash for this stuff but I do not really feel like mailing my ECU to them. If I buy the stuff to connect to my ECU will they email the correct rom(not sure what it is called) to upload? Or is this not possible. I finally talked to another evo owner in my area and was a little bit "off". He said he did everything himself and has cat back exhaust only and played around with the ECU so that he puts down 305 AWHP. Is it possible for me to play around enough to get it right? I am good at math and logic so I think I could handle it but how much room for error is there?
Also if I installed cams while doing the timing belt would I have to reflash before driving the car at all? Or can I drive it home and then work on the flash?
Have you tried the biotechnology fuel saving agent? You may try it out. It boost car power and efficiency by 30 percent, thus work on petrol and diesel powered vehicles. There is many options you can take. Probably the most expensive mod would be the turbo kit with bigger exhaust system.
