New Evo IX Dude

Hello Everyone I just joined today. Hopefully this site is helpful and has cool members.

My first question and the reason why I joined is that I just reached 40,000 miles in my evo IX and wanting to do some maintenance. I have a list of things that need to be replaced and inspected which im gonna do myself but ran across replacing the transfer case fluids. Sounds like a big job so i called the dealership and they are quoting me $300 for the TC and differential fluid replacement. Would I be better of letting them handle this or am I over thinking this and the job will be easy?

$300 sounds like a lot to have them do it. I think my local dealer is about a $100 for a fluid swap. anyway there are some how to's floating around to do it. easier with a lift but can be done with a jack stands and proper fluids. What other maitenece are you looking at doing?
