i just bought an 05 evo 8 MR and it has 80k miles (stock except a turbo timer) (which is how i wanted it) and im paying 17,500. and thats a private sale. dealership? forgettttt about it! As we speak more 99% of 03's on the market in the entire US right now are between 13-20k!!! &this is summer time which i can understand why dealers mark them up as sports cars but there all wheel drive and have a specific setting for snow so I am thinking that if anything they could ask MORE in the winter (when normally you would think any sports car in the winter u would get a great deal) its tough to say because i have been looking all summer but dont know how they price/sell in the winter. Keep your eye out for a good deal but just be aware even dealers will blow them out if they come in with issues or driven by a some speed racer kid who never even changed the oil. you have to keep in mind there are rich kids that mommy and daddy buy them an evo they trash it trade it in and its on to the next one for them, but for the hard working extremely patient enthusiast who will be paying for the priviledge to just say they own such a great machine and paying for the next 6 years for the POS this kid trashed and traded in, and if you think the dealer will have any sympathy when your engines falling apart think again. (i work in sales for a dealership, i know what goes on)
