Quick HELP

So I'm looking to buy an 06 MR. I test drove it last night and I'm ready to buy. The car drives great and sounds and looks great. The only thing I'm not sure about is this:

The owner says there is an aftermarket flywheel on it. He has a reciept from Mitsu say it does... thats cool. The thing is when he started the car the makes a whinny skretch sound, just as it turns over. It only last about half a second and thats all. Nothing while the car is running.

Since I'm so new to Evos I have no idea if this is normal for the situation. Any input please. I'm hoping to seal the deal in a day of two if everything checks out. Thanks

I don't know why it would have an aftermarket flywheel without also having an aftermarket clutch.

My 05 Evo is 4 years old and doesn't screech upon startup. I'm not sure what that could be...maybe a loose belt?

If it has an upgraded flywheel, there's probably other stuff done too; or been done and switched back to stock .
When I upgraded my front motor mount it changed the pitch of my start ups too. Maybe check there first.
