What Evo to Get

Hi everyone
Im new to the site.
Im getting ready to get used Lancer Evolution, but I dont know what Platform to choose Im in between
evo 8
evo 9
what is the difference between the MR & GSR's

Dont wanna race it or turn it into a project for the track' Just planning to do Basic Blot ons and keep it as my daily driver.

If it comes down to money, get an evo 8.
If money is not a problem, get an evo 9.

Evo 9's have Mivec, a bigger stock turbo, and more expensive interior over the 8's.
The 8 and 9 front bumpers are also different, take a look at both and decide which you like better.

MR's are 6 speed while GSR's are 5 speed.
The 6 speed transmissions are known to be weaker than the 5 speed, but if your not tracking it or modding it too much, a 6 speed might be better for a DD.

from my experience, A lot of people that buy 8's usually end up saying they wish they had a 9 because of the Mivec.
