11.9 Very Nice!!!!!

Just Happy to say I made it into the 11's this year!!!!

1.65
113
11.9

Car is running awesome! Tracks conditions were OK in the early runs but fell off later on.

I think it was 95 when I got there. Hot!

Nice to see a bunch of Evos out there ripping it up.

My Dad had a Great time and enjoyed meeting everybody.

Till Then,

tobz

Awesome job, Tobz. I knew you'd get it on that run, but damn you are getting every ounce of ET out of those traps. The traction last night was better than ever on a Wed night, and I think it was the leftover stickiness from the Nationals.

That 1.64 and 1.65 on RT-615s is amazing. I only managed a 1.65 and 1.66 on my 2 launches, hah! It was good to see the trap speed readings go back to normal for me. The one 11.74 was at 115.00 instead of reading 118-119 like always. I was down 1-1.5mph on that one run probably due to heat, but still got an easy 11.7, so I can't complain. Now, I gotta fix that 4th gear - too much abuse!!

It was so freaking hot that I bet you will find another 1-2mph when we get back to our normal 60-70* weather in the Fall...if only we can still get good traction then. I think you will considering your incoming rubber.

Two 11-sec stock turbo'd Tobz-tuned Evos in the house.

Yeah, 1 of those 11 second cars is at the expense of a turbo screaming to keep from self-imploding. But I guess running 35lbs through it on 4th gear runs must be too much fun to care about the bill you'll see when it self-implodes.

Heck of a reply there, Eric. This turbo can't even generate that much boost much less at this altitude, and it's not like we don't have others in the area claiming huge MAP boost numbers. I don't see this reaction towards them, nor do I see them going to the track. 11s up here on the stock turbo is a great achievement without nitrous. That's why there are only 2 currently that I know of...

Is it NOT Tobz that claimed he was running 35lbs out of that turbo?

Sure, but that's based off his SAFC reading. It's just a number taken out of context that he uses for comparison from one test to another.

Thanks E!!

My car never gets above 30 pounds on the track. Yes my car hits 35 pounds when I roll onto in 4th from 3000 rpm.
