AMS tunes cannot compete price wise with JustDSM mainly because of the travel involved, hotel stays etc. However I believe thier tunes are just as good or better than most and would recommend them to anyone who desires an AMS tune. (I have an AMS tune modified by JustDSM)
I'll swing by to hang out and B.S. with folks depending on the date of the tune.

AMS is excellent and would be a great visit, but it doesn't really make fiscal sense for them to do it when we have excellent, cheaper tuners locally, and that's without even factoring in the travel expenses. There just aren't enough Evos here to justify that trip, imo.
damn... I posted over on evom the other day mentioning the dyno prices were kinda high and now I have been offically warned and my posts was removed... They put me in David Buschur's troll cage! lol
Makes me want to visit evom that much more
I mean comon, $395 + dyno fees for a flash? So a two hour session would be $613.00. wow... Just seems kind of steep to me, I guess you could justfy $600.00 for a AEM or Autronic tune but just a basic flash? Back in the day DynoFlash Al was only charging $300.00 for street tunes but since the tatrix cable was released I would have thought he lost a lot of business...
He did, which is why we didn't schedule anymore trips for him to come out here and is why he started focusing on Subies. Now, tuners are a dime a dozen (not really, but way more than it used to be) thanks to EcuFlash. It's actually way better for the community, but not so good for those who made a living out of it previously. Thus is life in a capitalist society, which is a good thing in the long run.
I talked to Chris at AMS and he's not coming out here just for us. They already have a purpose to be in Denver and were offering their services to those who may want it. I know their prices can't compare to JustDSM or others locally...but in the end they do good work.
