Bad Boost leak

Well day before yesterday, I was rockin out a boost test and I could here massive air leakage.. but was having a hell of a time finding where it was coming from. Found 1 leak at my UICP coupling, fixed. But still leaking really bad at the Intake manifold, so thought it was Throttle body, nope. Got under the car and looked at the back of the intake manifold and saw 2 hoses disconnected,. Look a little closer and saw a solenoid similar to the boost unit with the nipples torn off !! Unplugged the hose that it was connected to and Plugged all 3 hoses and Vola boost leaks taken care off for the most part.. But i can still here air in my down pipe??? I'm guessing it coming out the Ex Mani and out the pipe because of a valve still open, does this sound right??

Well any ways it's some of the ERG stuff thats broke so i disabled it via ECU heres a pic of it..

Is it normal to have the air come out the down pipe or do i have a major issue?

could be an exhaust leak, maybe your gaskets are bad? or your exhaust is loose?

Remember... The valves are NEVER fully closed with each other.

You will get some leakage out of the exhaust. Only way to ensure is a leak down test and/or compression test.

Cheers-
Erich

I would have to look at it first hand to determine what the problem is. Too bad I did not see this earlier, I was just down at Jacks.
