Alright guys i'm back in business Turns out my ignition coils didnt need to be replaced there was just a bad connection. I took it to Racing Trenz about 2mi. from my house and found out my boost controller peaced out so that's why it was staying at 14psi. I bought an EBC which holds boost like there's no tomorrow.

Trenz put it on their load-bearing dyno and found out that the afr was around 8-9! and dyno'd at 214/234 to wheels. That was really weird because before the accident it is was around 264/310(different mustang load-bearing dyno). The Rom that was currently on the car was corrupt because no matter what they did to it it wouldnt affect the dyno numbers. They started with a stock 8 map and after some tuning finally got some numbers i could deal with and put down 388awhp/325awtq @ 22psi on 91oct.
They could have gotten around 20hp more but they recommended stopping there which i agreed. i need to get more supporting mods (UICP, larger injectors, cam gears, etc...) The wastegate spring is no longer strong enough so i need to upgrade that too and so begins the quest to throw more money in this pit.

btw if anyone is looking for a great performance shop to go to for whatever you want check out Racing Trenz.

thanks for all your help and suggestions everyone!

Haha, I can't imagine the feeling of going from 214 to 388whp! I'm sure you were stoked.

Btw, what type of dyno do they have, and what correction factor was used?

i was totally stoked and couldn't wipe the smile off my face all day
Here's the website for Trenz http://racingtrenzcorp.com/contact.html they have a dynomite dynamometer. i'm not sure on the correction factor but there's a link on their site that leads to info on the dyno.

You need to find out the correction factor on your run - that's extremely important. 388whp uncorrected would mean one thing, but 388whp with a standard 1.25 correction for altitude means something completely different. The CF changes depending on the weather conditions (barometer, temp, humidity), so their website can't tell us that info for your specific run.

Glad to hear you got it sorted out Mario!! I am sorry I wasn't able to get back to you about the stock map. I've got really spotty internet connection out here in the middle of nowhere.

But never the less. I'm glad you're happy!

Interesting... Post up some dyno sheets, I am interested to see those hp/tq curves.

Hmm, looks ugly. I think the torque curve indicates some fluctuating boost levels. This just means to me you still have another 100whp hidden in there with some tweaks and some nice tuning after everything else is in order.

The wastegate spring is not strong enough so it's causing the fluctuation. The shop didnt have an upgraded spring at the time so that's one reason we stop tuning. I can actually hear it open and hiss at WOT over 10psi. Once I get the cam gears, spring and UICP i'll throw it back on the dyno but for now there's more than enough power to get me in trouble.

I have personally known the owners of Trenz (Yi, Wayne) for at least 10 years. I stopped by there recently (a month ago or so) to shoot the shit.

They didnt know I had an Evo, so we BS'd about them for a little. We finally got to the point they got the Dynomite dyno and they were doing some in-house tuning. I was inquiring about HKS cams, install (might just end up doing them myself), and tuning.

They quickly stated they would tune with a SAFC and get at least another 30hp. I laughed and said "Im already flash tuned", and they didnt even know what I was talking about. I then told them I might just tune it myself with a free flash program. They were dumfounded.

Dont get my wrong: great guys, good prices and decent install. But there is NO way in hell I would trust anyone to tune my car with a SAFC, knowing we can flash for free.

I agree with Warr, not the smoothest graph.

What WG are you using out of curiousity?

Interestingly enough I got a phone call from the dealer about your car while it was there, but they really couldnt give me enough information to help them with it.
