Clutch Slipping?

I'm not quite sure if my clutch is slipping or not but here's whats going on. I noticed today on the interstate when I floored it at about 3,000 rpm it builds boost like normal and about 4 seconds later the rpms would sort of jump up about 300 and then drop right back down. It doesn't feel like my car stops moving or putting power to the ground. It does the same thing in 3rd and 4th gear but not in 1st or 2nd. AFAIK the clutch is still stock. I bought it the car used with about 30k on it and I have never raced it but have done about 8 or 9 launches with it.

Most likey your clutch is slipping. Also could be a boost problem also. What boost controller are you using?

Classic clutch slip. Higher gears = higher load, so the clutch is more likely to slip. It will slip the worst in top gear right at peak boost (~3500rpm). If it is truly the stock clutch, then you're lucky it lasted this long.

Not currently using boost controller. Car is all stock except for ricer ssqbov, hks intake, and invidia cat back. Thanks for the help guys I guess I'll be getting a clutch next week. I could get a competition clutch for super cheap (new) but I was leaning towards the ACT. What would you recommend?
